First Guardian Group was founded in San Jose in 2003 as an independent commercial real estate brokerage and management firm offering:
- Full service brokerage services including sales, listing, and leasing.
- The management of income properties tailored to meet the specialized needs of of investors including institutions, family offices, and high net worth individuals in ownership structures including joint ventures, partnerships, and Tenancy in Common (TIC).
- Superior risk adjusted private equity investments in managed investment grade distressed or stabilized real estate development projects and income properties.
Asset classes include commercial, retail, medical, multifamily, student housing, and senior housing properties.
First Guardian Group seeks to:
- Match buyers and sellers that are seeking to acquire distressed or stabilized income producing assets that offer superior investor returns
- Provide ongoing asset, investment, and property management services
- Analyze operational deficiencies, estimate financial needs of the property on a long term basis, and make recommendations for a turnaround
- Originate investments in joint ventures with established developers and strong local operating partners
- Provide private equity and debt options through leveraging an extensive network of relationships in both the capital markets as well as with regional and local banks.
- Provide lenders with a means of selling distressed assets while maintaining maximum value.
First Guardian Group has been qualified by numerous nationally recognized securities broker-dealers who have approved the firm's offerings for investment by their clients. First Guardian Group and its affiliates and strategic partners currently oversee over 16,000,000 total square feet under management throughout the United States.
